Here are 2 little bags I have made, one i keep my threads in and the other is for my mug, they were fun to make.

Today I'm going to finish Daniel's civil war quilt, only 4 rows to go.

Angel quilt

Here is a photo of my red work angels, I have set them inside an 18 1/2 inch star, they are so fun and quick to do, I still have 3 more to stitch so stay tuned for more photos.

I joined a red work swap and these are the blocks I have made, I have to send them to Honolulu USA. I can't wait to see what has been stitched for me.

Here are a picture of my latest WIPs,this one is Leanne's house, Journey of a quilter, I'm onto block 3 now, its such a pretty quilt. My goal this year is to finish it.

Here is photo of my latest finish, its a design by Bronwyn Hayes, I changed the layout of the quilt and added a few extra stitcheries, I love the brown and blue fabrics.

Pay it foreward

I've joined the Pay it Forward challenge. I think it will be fun. I love doing things for people and making gifts for my friends. The first three people to join me will receive a handmade gift from me. I have 365 days to make it and send. Hopefully it won't take me that long though. Then each of you three must also put this on your blog and get three people each to sign up. Then you make your three people a handmade gift. I think it sounds great. My angel quilt

Here is an almost finished quilt, just some more hand quilting to do then its done, its called An Angels story by Hatched and Patched. I love pastel colours mostly so I've used alot in this quilt.

A bit about me

My name is Leanne and I'm mad about quilting and doing stitcheries, I am married to a wonderful and very patient man who puts up with all my fabric and crafts spread throughout the house, we have 3 boys who keep me very busy, Daniel is 12, Jacob is 9 and Nicky is 8.
I work part time as a teachers assistant and in between doing that and looking after my family, I love to quilt, right now I'm working on Leanne's house Journey of a quilter, its such a pretty quilt, I'm also doing Girls Day out as a block of the month. I have plenty of other quilts on the go but far too many to mention in my first blog.
Ok thats it for today, I'm off to see what else i can add to my blog page, I'll post some photos soon.
