My weekend has been full of sewing, I have been finishing off projects and of course starting new ones.
I joined a fantastic journal cover swap with the lovely
Cheryl, who organises lots of different swaps. I received an e-mail from the lady I made this journal cover for and she loved it, I was so pleased. Thanks Sisbabe, you made my day. My journal cover hasn't arrived yet but I'll be sure to share a photo as soon as it does.
I even found a red spotty pen at the newsagents which matched it beautifully.
I finally got around to making a pillow to match my half square triangle quilt. I'm so happy with both projects, the pillow just makes the set look so cozy.
I have been making my own labels to put on my projects, I thought these would be good to add on to projects that I make for gifts and swaps. Of course I had to add my own little touch to this pillow. I thought these tags were a great idea. I printed them on the computer using a fabric sheet through the printer.
I also finished my 3rd block of Sunshine frolics, I am really enjoying these stitcheries. They are so pretty mixed with the fig tree fabrics.
Its been such a busy day, now its time to cook dinner and relax a bit.
I hope you found some sewing time today.
