A bit of everything.

I have had a busy week and its so nice having a long weekend here in Tassie. I have been doing lots of sewing, some for me and some for secret santa swaps. I love this time of year when I start making Christmas things.
I made my pen friend Stephany a tilda mug rug, we did a swap and it was so much fun. I haven't taken a photo of the one Steph sent me yet but I will do that soon.
I have made lots more Union Jack blocks, actually I made 16 in one week. Its funny to think that 2 weeks ago I only had 4 union Jacks blocks and now I have 20. This quilt is for number two son Jacob and he keeps checking on the progress of the quilt. I think he is looking foreward to getting a new quilt. lol

I love this 2 tone blue block, its just a little bit different.
I have finished 2 more blocks of Sweet Heart houses block of the month. This is a lovely project, a bit of needle turn applique and blanket stitch. This quilt is a sample for  work.
 Such a pretty little bird.

Fern hill block of the month is almost finished to, just next month to go.  This is another sample I am doing for work. Customers like to see what we are working on.
Owls are so popular these days, they are very cute don't you think.
And a cute little mouse button, the only kind of mice I like.

Thats my show and tell for the week, tomorrow I plan to enjoy a day with my family. I hope you have a great day.

I love that Union Jack! I think I told you that I have the patterns for a paper pieced one but the blocks are small. It's on my list. Every time I see yours, I'm tempted to start it!

It is all so beautiful Leanne that it is hard to comment without just going, oh the bird - beautiful, the owl - beautiful, the mouse - beautiful! All your work is just glorious. Lucky Lillian, another sample that should have that pattern & fabrics running out of the shop. Enjoy your family day. Tracee xx
