I have had a very productive week in my sewing room, I finished a few swap gifts and I got my In from the cold quilt together, I love this quilt.
Yesterday I quilted it at work, the pattern is called Frisky feathers, there was a lot of white space on the quilt so the quilting fills it in perfectly.
It looks so fresh and pretty,
Now I just need to bind it and it will be ready to hang at Christmas.
My garden is finally getting some life into it after such a wet and cold winter. Daffodils are popping up everywhere, they are so bright and cheery don't you think.
Hyacinths are in full bloom and smell divine.
Today is catch up on the washing day and hopefully I'll fit in a bit of sewing . I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

Gorgeous, love the fabric and how good does that steam look coming out of the cups..
Such a cute quilt Leanne
so pretty... I love how the 'steam' is coming out the cups... a detail which just adds to it...

Your new quilt is wonderful, such pretty colours and design. And your amazing quilting just finishes it off perfectly! Love your spring flowers too. xx
That is a darling quilt! I love how the "smoke" comes out of the cups and like the grey triangle "smoke." Clever!
What a beauty Leanne, I absolutely love it, another pattern I have collected for 'one day'! Love the garden pics too, isn't the scent of hyacinths incredible....
Hi Leanne - well In From The Cold looks wonderful, and the quilting is so pretty too. Great job!
i could do with one of those lovely warm cups here today... my winter is back, yay! x
Very nice. Handy to be able to quilt it at work.
Love your new Christmas quilt and the quilting on it too. What I wouldn't give to be a fly on your shoulder when you're working that longarm. Fabulous! It's still really weird seeing spring flowers blooming in your garden when mine are dying down ready for winter. Hugs....
Your quilt turned out so beautifully! I love how you quilted it. Great choice of motif for the white space. Merry early Christmas to you, Leanne! xo
