Another weekend over

Why do the weekends always go so fast, I think mine fly by as I don't stop. Saturday morning is house work catch up then I break out the sewing machine and get stuck into my projects. This weekend I started playing with my reproduction stash and I made these cute little baskets, I plan to make more then I'll decide how to incorporate them into a quilt.

I also made the first block in a series designed by Lynette Anderson called My garden. We sell these buttons at Esmes where I work, the idea is to buy the button and get the pattern free.

The fabric I used is a new range by Bunny Hill called Petite Maison. Its very pretty.

A little while ago I made these hexagons, I fussy cut the fabrics and I think they turned out really well, I should make some more and make a table runner. I hope you found some sewing time today.

I do like your baskets! I'm working on a basket quilt too. The My Garden block is adorable and what a fantastic offer to buy the button and receive the pattern. Your hexies are adorable. I keep looking at projects for them. I am **so** tempted. Cheers, Ann :-)
