Red, white and Blue.

Remember when I started this quilt, it was quite a few months ago. Well its now finished.

Its already been put to good use by number 3 son, he wants this quilt for himself. I love it when my boys show an interest in my quilting.
I was so happy with how it turned out. The border is my favourite print. Its a Minnick and Simpson  fabric.
I love this photo, the quilt looks like a big wall of tiles.
Such a fun quilt to put together and watch the stars form as you make more rows.

My wonderful on line stitching group had a red and white swap, this is the beautiful gift I received from De. the bag is so sweet and some red and white ribbons to go with it, thankyou De.
I made for Sarah, she received these cards with fabric buntings, sorry the photo is blurry, its the only one I took,
I also made Sarah a fabric  basket, I thought it turned out rather well.

I have had  the best weekend, my husband took our boys camping for the weekend so I have been home alone. I got lots of sewing done and watched a few movies. I've had a lovely time., They will be home this afternoon with some fish hopefully and no doubt piles of washing.

Have a great day.

Theres that cute little man of yours again, he & his quilt are gorgeous. All the red & white gifts have been stunning. Your fabrics for the basket are so pretty. I have to try some of those baskets soon, they would be so handy. Sounds like a wonderful weekend but aside from the washing bet you will be happy to have all your boys back, hopefully with fish too.
