Seeing stars and making buntings.

What a busy week  its been around my house. Number 1 son Daniel got a part time job at Coles so he had his first shift on Wednesday night, Number 2 son got a part time at McDonalds so we have been helping him do all the on line training he has to complete before he does his first real shift. He is really excited and can't wait to start. Of course we are thrilled for both of them, Finally I won't have my wallet out all the time handing out cash. lol. Number 3 son got sick with a cold and kindly shared it with me so I have been laying low all weekend, I did find some energy to do little bit of sewing. I started a new project a few days ago and I have  been  sewing  different size star blocks . The one above is 4 1/2 inches and so cute.
I'm using all my Bonnie and Camille  fabrics, even found a few scraps of Bliss. I don't have much left now.
I'm making this quilt  by Leanne Beasley but I have changed it a little bit,. I'll share more as I progress. I am really enjoying the stitchery part.  Its long though, one side is 48 inches.  Thats alot of stitching to get through.

I also made a tilda bunting. You all know how much I adore tilda so I cut into my beautiful fabrics and made this for my sewing room. I love the tilda sitchery , it was quick to do.

Today I think I'm going to try and sew a bit more and maybe even make time to watch a movie with my stitching in hand.

Have a wonderful day.

You have been busy Leanne. Everything is so lovely. I keep trying to get Mitchell to apply for a job. He keeps saying "I'll go next week". Whereas Austin can't wait until he is 14 and 9 months to get a job! You do get sick of handing money out all the time, especially when they don't do anything to earn it! Hope you're feeling better soon. Hugs, Christine

Love your quilt and the embroidery. I just did my first embroidery and it looks like a 5 year old did it. I just can't get that smooth line like you do. Thanks for sharing...those colors are amazing!
