Its been the perfect day for sewing, there is snow on the mountains and its so cold outside, the wind is icy. I did get 4 loads of washing dry so that made me happy. Sometimes its just the little things that make life easy.
Last night for Friday night sewing I sat and finished sewing the binding on my scrappy trip along quilt. I love this quilt alot, it has all my favourite fabrics in it and it just looks so pretty.
I cut lots of my Lynette Anderson fabrics into these hexagons and lots of little triangles, I did start to sew just a few together last night. Couldn't wait to see how they looked together.
Then today I sewed 45 more and joined 3 rows, the pattern I'm using is by thimbleblossoms and is called Juggle. Its a great pattern, so easy to follow.
Tomorrow I hope to sew a few more.
So how did you spend your Friday night, I hope you got some sewing done to, Pop over to Cheryll's blog and check all the other lovely ladies blogs and see what sewing they achieved.

Your scrappy quilt is just beautiful, do you have a special place for it? Your son's one is looking lovely too.
Your quilt looks fantastic Leanne. Your hexagons look great too.
Beautiful work that certainly was a very productive night.
I don't remember a colder winter in Sydney so it must be positively Antarctic in Tasmania. Your projects are lovely Leanne. Scrappy Trip is so pretty. Nice rustic colours in your new quilt. Happy stitching!
Your quilts look great. Are the hezies hard to sew by machine?

Well done Leanne on finishing the bind for your Scrappy Trip, it looks amazing, I wish you many snuggly hours beneath it in your cold winter:)

Looks lie you accomplished a lot. Love the lynette anderson fabrics
Love everything you've been making lately xxx
Your scrappy quilt is beautiful & it all goes together like a rolling stream of colour. I have a grave fear of scrap quilts, the thought of putting some of my scraps next to each other makes me shiver. Which son will be the lucky recipient of the hexie quilt? It seems to be a bit of a cold winter every where but loving seeing pics of the snow in Tassie. xx
