Time flies........

Hi everyone. I really didn't mean to leave it so long between posts but the days have come and gone so quickly lately. Do you find that to. Christmas will soon be here. Eeekk
I have had some fun in my sewing room recently, I made this lovely camera bag for my etsy shop and now its on its way to a new home in USA. I'm so pleased .

As well as sewing, I have been cosying up the house. My sweet husband painted this cupboard for me, it was all dark wood and while I loved the style I no longer liked the colour, so out come the good old electric sander. Didn't he do a great job!!
I have  had a lovely time playing around with all my things, rearranging and folding.
I love little baskets of quilts rolled up. Much better to have them out for everyone to see.

I did a little halloween decorating to, Its a fun time of year.
I even started a new halloween quilt, I have made all the blocks now I just need to put it together. I'll have it ready for next year for sure.
So thats what has been keeping me busy.

Hope you have found some time to do all the things you love to. Thankyou for stopping by.

Until next time .... Happy sewing.

I was beginning to wonder where you had been! Love that cute little desk with the curvy accents. It turned out great! And your wire basket full of quilts is a really cute idea too. I wish you were here to help me decorate my sewing room! :)

Oh I knew you would be having some Halloween items in your home Leanne, I know you love it!
Your husband did indeed do a fabulous job of the table, I love the look he created.

A lick of paint does wonders. Sewing time has been no existent but I am trying to rustle up some Christmas spirit. Made fruit mince and will make the first wee pies soon. First weekend sees the Christmas tree installed, champagne popped and a little mince pie nibbled.

It all looks cozy and festive Leanne. It is fun to make old things come to life again. Good job Paul on the cupboard !! We still have many leaves on the trees here. I feel like that is so unusual with Thanksgiving next week. I am getting the bug to do a little Christmas decorating. I have decided It doesn't hurt to start before Thanksgiving. It creates less stress for me and who doesn't like a few twinkling lights for family gatherings. So maybe this weekend. I will be helping Ariann with a show on Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving next week. Hope everyone is doing well . XO Janita
