Busy Lizzie

Its been such a cold weekend here in Tassie, for me its the perfect weather to stay inside by the fire and sew, sew, sew. I made a couple of little bags which turned out so well, some times I even surprise myself when I make something and it looks as it should, the binding was a little tricky but I got there in the end.

They were fun to make and I think I'll have to make a few more. I just need to sew on a press stud to keep it closed.

I also made these 9 patch blocks today, its a new range by Sweet water called Hometown, we got some jelly rolls in at work on Friday and I just had to have one. I'm sure many of you know that feeling. As I progress with this project I'll share more photos, for now I'll have to say goodbye and start cooking dinner, the boys are starving as always. I hope you found some sewing time today.

Oh yes, it's cold here too. Unusual for May but I like rugging up too. I have a sunny spot inside by the window where I can sew. Your little bags are so sweet - cute spots! Those blocks are lovely. Ann :-)

Loving the sweet water fabric, looking forward to seeing that quilt finished. Sometimes its nice to do little projects in between quilts and these little bags are great. :)
