Lucky me

A little while ago my friend Wendy from Charlottes web and I decided to do a swap with each other, This week my swap gifts arrived . Wendy made me the most beautiful gifts from Anni Downs fabric. A gorgeous little drawstring bag, a needlecase and a pin cushion with scissors in the back.

Even with some embroidery which is so pretty.

Also Wendy sent me some lovely fabric which is so pretty and designed by Rielly Blake. A cute tin and a button.

Thankyou Wendy, the gifts you made me are perfect.

You will have to go to Wendy's blog to see the things I sent her as I forgot to take photos.

I also recieved another special gift from my friend Steph, all the way from Belgium.

Steph sent me some Tilda fabrics. I love these and as they are so hard to come by I need to think of the perfect project.

Steph also sent me some Tilda wooden cut outs, I think I'll put them in my quilt journal.

Plenty of sewing going on this weekend, I'll be back to share then.

Have a great evening.

Oh Leanne, Wendy has made you such beautiful gifts :) I especially like the goodies made from the Annie Downs fabric...it's a particular favorite of mine.

A busy sewing weekend here too, the sailors are off to Hobart so I can do as I please - and I think it may be too hot to be in the garden.

Gorgeous set Leanne. Nice to see that Wendy used the pattern by Lisa of Cubby House Crafts, another Tassie quilter too. They all look so sweet in that fabric. The Tilda fabric & cut outs are scrumptious, what a great gift of itms we can't get easily here. You are lucky but bet they received just as beautiful & thoughtful in reutirn. Off now to check out your gifts to Wendy. Tracee xx
