Friday night sewing

It was a very productive Friday night  sewing for me, Remember when I said I was thinking about sewing another row for my version of Farmers wife, well I decided to make 2 more rows.
Here are a few more blocks,

This one was fun to make. Such tiny pieces of fabric.
I love these colours, so fresh and cheery.
After I sewed these blocks I wanted to relax for half an hour before bed so I sat and sewed some binding on my Union Jack quilt. Its almost finished.

I'm hosting a very special afternoon tea today for 5 of my friends. The scones are in the oven so now I must clean up my sewing room as I'm sure my friends will want to see my sewing space.

Have a great day.

As always beautiful work Leanne. I look at the book for that quilt & can't see past the fabrics they used for it. Now I see your choices & Sharon's I am seeing it in a new light. Both quilts are going to be such works of art. I bet afternoon tea will be a lot of fun! Tracee xx
