My farmers wife quilt and a new bag.

I finally got my borders on my farmers wife quilt. I love the white border. I think I'll do a coloured binding, maybe scrappy what do you think? I do like scrappy bindings but maybe this quilt just needs the one fabric  as binding.
So many pretty blocks and all my favourite fabrics in the one quilt.

My on line stitching group had a travel swap and we had to make our partners something they could take with them when they travel. I made Fiona a stitching wallet, Hopefully it will fit into her bag when she goes away. I also included a stitching project for her.
My friend Vicki made for me and she gave me a beautiful travel shoulder bag with lots of compartments and a beautiful travel wallet.
I love my bag, thankyou Vicki.

Its been a busy day so I'll say goodnight, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and you find some sewing time.

It looks terrific Leanne! So much work went into creating all those different blocks. If you stick to one colour binding how do you pick which colour?!

The quilt looks fabulous...a wonderful achievement! I think a scrappy binding could be fun, but whatever you choose will be perfect.

This is one of the pretties Farmer's Wife quilts that I've seen. I like that you sashed between the blocks with white before sewing the blocks together.
