Good Morning everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, we sure did. It was a quiet day but very nice.
I received some beautiful gifts from my lovely friends and i was so happy with all the gifts I made this year as well, Above is part of my friend Cathy's gifts, she loves Lori Holt so I made her a pouch with pieced blocks in the back and front out of Lori Book, It was a really fun project.
I also made Cathy this very sweet cross stitch stocking ornament,
Sewing bags were popular this year, I received this lovely caddy sewing bag for my part of my online stitching group gifts, Its a great size and will be used all the time to hold my supplies, Thankyou Kerry.
I made this sweet basket for my dear friend Christine in the UK.
My mother in law sent this cute singer music box. Its so cute.
These were my gifts from Cathy, Love the stitchery in the frame.
Christine sent me these beautiful goodies, I love this mini quilt, its so pretty and in my favourite fabrics,
An awesome pattern that I can't wait to make, some buttons and bliss fabric. Love everything . Thankyou my friend. xx
I have 2 more weeks of holidays to enjoy, we aren't going away so I'll be spending my time pottering around at home, catching up on some jobs and of course sewing.
Have a great day.

Lots of lovely gifts coming and going at your place. Sometimes quiet and peaceful is just the ticket....enjoy your pottering x
Merry Christmas Leanne! So many pretty sent and received and I love that zig zag quilting. You make such beautiful things that it's no surprise you receive them in return. I have some time off as well; the sewing room has been tidied and those pesky UFOs lined up ready to go. There's a baby quilt in the wings when the fabric arrives.
This time of year is perfect for pottering around don't you think? ( I don't wear a watch if I can avoid it, to make pottering more enjoyable!). Love the sewing machine music box- never seen one of them before!
Love your handmade gifts sent and received. Enjoy your time off.
