Paul spent 2 days making this new daddo rail around the oven. I still need to paint it white but that will have to wait until the weekend when I have more time.
The big job for me was to paint my kitchen cabinet, we bought this when we first got married and I felt it was time for a paint job so I transformed it from this.......
to this. What do you think? Its still not completely finished as I just finished painting the doors and they need to dry but I couldn't wait to show you how it looks so far. The colour is called Scallywag.
I also painted the walls, they were a lovely soft green but after 6 years I was tired of that colour so now the walls are light blue. The correct colour is called Feather by Taubmans.Its amazing how a room can change with just a few alterations and a new coat of paint, when I have painted the new wall around the oven I'll share the after photos.

Hubby did a great job with the daddo rail, they are a favourite design feature of mine. The dresser came up beautifully. I have some similar pieces but am hestitant to paint them in case they look less than well done. After seeing yours I think when I get a house to suit they would be worth the time & effort. The red crockery looks so fun on the white. Tracee xx

I love the makeover on the dresser. And you wouldn't believe it....our bedrooms are Feather!!! I can't believe our families have so much in common. It's quite wierd really... L xo

Red and white are 2 of my favorites! I have a white kitchen with red and blue touches. Love your makeover!
