Lizzie the quilter: Birthday week.

I have had a fabulous week, On Thursday the 1st of September was it not only the first day of Spring but it was my Birthday. The day was glorious, my morning was filled with phone calls and texts from family and friends then the evening was spent with a family meal and an evening with friends . It couldn't have been more perfect.

My friend Cathy made me this beautiful USA cross stitch pillow, the photos don't really do it justice, its just gorgeous.

My other sweet friend Lynette who lives in Idaho sent me these beautiful Fig tree goodies, oh my friend sure know my taste in fabrics. I love the little mat and basket.

And the little spool pin cushion is just darling, Thankyou Lynette, you sure did spoil me.

My on line stitching group made me this beautiful see through pouch in the most pretty fabrics, I can't wait to fill it with some sewing projects. Thankyou Lynda xxx

I also received this lovely book so I can't wait to look through that and get some inspiration.

This weekend I have lots of sewing planned, I can't wait to get stuck in.

I did miss sewing something for you this year but I just couldn't find the time. I have several ideas brewing for next year though. : ) Tonight we had the most delicious supper with my daughter Amy and her family. I asked her what shall we have to eat when you come and she said.... " This meal that we are eating tonight , Grilled chicken, Bow tie Pasta salad and Berry Parfaits.
