36 blocks

I have finished all 36 blocks for my scrappy trip around the world quilt, it looks so good all layed out on my sewing room floor.
Now I need to sew them altogether.  I can't wait to get it all finished. Its so pretty and fresh. I'm not having a border as I don't think it really needs one. Would you put a border on this quilt?
Some floral inspiration from my garden taken with my new camera. I'm having lots of fun with it. Not too many photos of my boys though as they run away when they see  me with the camera.  I think they are sick of my taking their photos. I'll just have to catch them when they're not looking.
Have a great day. xx

Your scrappy trip is gorgeous - such pretty colours! It's tempting to put a border on but I'd resist. Pretty dahlias. Good luck snapping the lads!

My friend Pauline didn't put a border and it looks wonderful... but only YOU can decide that! :)

Looks Great. It is more modern to not put a border on a all over design. It will look great with out a border. Job well done.

The blocks are beautiful. A border? Depends on what how you want to use the quilt to work out if it's big enough. Perhaps a light plain border then a checkerboard border if you decide you need borders.

I am a border person normally but this quilt will look quite nice without one I think. Hugs....

Wow Leanne you and the new camera are a great team, the pics are lovely.
As for the scrappy blocks, golly you have done heaps of them! Sorry I have no opinion on the border issue, I'm clueless about quilt making!

The quilt is looking fantastic, Leanne, so good you have your new room to experiment with layouts. Big decision to border or not to border! Too hard to decide lol.

Beautiful Leanne, it does look so fresh and pretty. Definitely no borders needed on this one.
My kids hate the camera too unless they want to make goofy faces!
Love all the plum goodies in your last post too, yum!
